At the time I was infatuated with cosmic horror. Pieces written by authors such as H.P. Lovecraft, and Robert W Chambers really captivated me with their wordplay and inspired me to not create a work of literature; but rather a visual creation. I used Adobe Photoshop, Blender, Roblox Studio and Lightroom.
I wanted to create an 'artefact' of sorts, really focusing on the emotion of fear through the lack of knowledge, creating something not explicitly scary but emitting such an uncertainty and ominous aura that it invokes fear.
